Olivia Roat

Olivia is a London based milliner, designing and making bespoke head pieces and hats from her studio in Chelsea.

Having studied millinery she gained invaluable experience with the renowned Philip Treacy. Her work is stylish and decadent with references to historical movements, particularly Italian baroque. She is keenly interested in 3D design and her background in sculpture and history of art has been an obvious influence.

Olivia has received an international award for one of her pieces, she has had a pop up boutique in Maria Grachvogel’s Sloane street store in the lead up to Ascot and has been interviewed on Sky news for the Royal wedding. Last year she made bespoke pieces for a Jasper Garvida catwalk show. Her pieces have been worn by Prince, Miquita Oliver, Myleene Klass and Olivia Inge to name a few.

Olivia's work is about creating a balance between bold sharp colours and lines that make her clients stand out from the crowd whilst still keeping a soft feminine elegance.
