Olivia Roat Millinery

Olivia’s work is stylish and decadent with references to historical movements, particularly Italian baroque. She is keenly interested in 3D design and her background in sculpture and history of art has been an obvious influence.

Having finished a short course in millinery at the London College of Fashion she went on to gain experience with the renowned Philip Treacy and later with Noel Stewart and Karen Henriksen. She achieved an HNC in millinery at Kensington and Chelsea College and recently received an international award for one of her pieces.

Olivia is based in London and establishing her own label, she works with private clients and was commissioned to make a number of hats for the Lady Mayoress of The City of London. She also designed a spring/summer 09 collection for Maria Grachvogel.
